About AINT Foundation CIC

Making emotional support human again

We exist to create safe, non-judgemental spaces where people feel heard, respected, and supported, without pressure, labels, or fear.

Our Story

Where it began

AINT Foundation CIC was created from a simple but powerful belief:

Everyone deserves to be met with dignity, understanding, and compassion.

Through years of therapeutic practice, research, and lived experience, a clear gap became visible, many people felt judged, pressured, or misunderstood in traditional mental health settings.

The AINT Model was developed as a direct response to this.

Born from both professional insight and real human experience, the model addresses what many people were missing: a space where they could speak freely without fear, without pressure, and without feeling “wrong.”

What started as a commitment to humane, accessible care has grown into a wider movement, supporting individuals, families, and practitioners across the UK.

Today, we continue to create spaces where people feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make mental health support human again.

We provide safe, inclusive, non-judgemental environments where people can explore their experiences with dignity and confidence.

Through the AINT Model, we aim to:

  • Build emotional safety
  • Strengthen resilience
  • Support meaningful, lasting change
"We are committed to transforming mental health care,
one conversation, one family, one practitioner at a time."
Statement of Purpose

Leading a new standard in trauma-responsive, non-judgemental practice.

The AINT Model was created to bring humanity back into therapeutic work.

Replacing:

  • Pressure
  • Shame
  • Clinical detachment

With:

  • Acceptance
  • Clarity
  • Genuine human connection

Our model is built on four core principles:

Acceptance Integration Non-judgement Trust

These principles shape every session, every training pathway, and every piece of work we deliver.

They ensure that clients and practitioners experience a space that is: Safe, Warm, Grounded in dignity.

The AINT Model stands apart because it is: Accessible, Practical, Deeply humane.

It blends research, lived experience, and global practice into a framework that practitioners can use confidently and clients can feel safe within.

It removes jargon. It removes hierarchy. It removes the fear of “getting it wrong.” Instead, it offers clarity, compassion, and tools that work in real-world settings.

Our Signature Method

The AINT Neuro-Regulation Method

The AINT Neuro-Regulation Method is the signature grounding technique of AINT Foundation CIC and a defining feature of the AINT Model.

It was created to solve one of the biggest challenges people face when seeking emotional support: talking about traumatic or distressing experiences without being pulled back into the pain.

The AINT Neuro-Regulation Method offers a gentle, humane alternative.

How it works

  1. You briefly name the issue that brought you to us, just a few seconds.
  2. Before your brain has time to reconnect with the emotional pain, we gently pause you.
  3. We guide you toward something positive, comforting, or light.
  4. This shift activates the brain’s natural calming chemistry.
If you cannot think of anything positive, there is no pressure. We introduce something light or neutral to help your body settle.

Why is it effective

This method works because the brain does not have time to fully activate the traumatic memory network.

It helps prevent:

PanicDissociationEmotional overwhelmShutdown

And supports:

GroundingEmotional stabilityA sense of controlSafetyConnection

This method reflects our core belief: emotional support should never retraumatise, it should stabilise and empower.

It is one of the key reasons the AINT Model has received global recognition for innovation, accessibility, and humanity.
